Full Service Interior Design

We specialize in true full-service interior design: a comprehensive and all-encompassing approach to designing and transforming interior spaces. This service goes beyond providing just the basics, offering clients a complete and tailored experience from initial consultation to the final installation. 

A typical full-service interior design project includes components of the following: 

  • New Construction Projects
    Wherein we partner with clients and their contractor to establish a clear vision and execute it within established budgetary and time constraints

  • Remodels/Renovations
    Which often include reconfiguring spaces, in partnership with your architect or our proposed professionals

  • Selection of Architectural Details + Finishes

  • Selection of Soft Furnishings
    Window Treatments, Art, and Decor (3-room minimum)

Design Consultation

At CM Studio, we understand that our full-service design package may not be the right fit for every project. During a design consultation, we can assist with:

    Discuss furniture arrangement and flow to maximize functionality and aesthetics.

  • Color Scheme Guidance – Help choose the right color palette for walls, furniture, and accents.

  • Styling Suggestions – Offer ideas for décor, artwork, and accessories to enhance the space.

  • Furniture Recommendations – Provide advice on which pieces to keep, purchase, or repurpose.

  • Lighting Plan – Suggest lighting options to create ambiance and highlight key features of the space.

  • Material and Finish Selection – Help select fabrics, textures, and finishes for furniture or fixtures.

  • Budget Planning – Offer a realistic budget breakdown for a proposed design or renovation.

  • Design Concept Feedback – Review existing design ideas or Pinterest boards and offer professional advice.

These tasks provide a comprehensive approach to addressing key design elements within a limited timeframe, helping clients move forward with their projects.

Our Design Process

  • Submit your project inquiry form on our website. After that, CM Studio will reach out to schedule a complimentary 20-minute discovery call to learn more details about your project and explain how we may be able to assist.

  • If we determine that CM Studio is a good fit for your project, we will schedule an in-person, paid consultation. During that consultation, we dig deeper into scope and get to know your needs for the project and dreams for the spaces. We will discuss not only aesthetics, but also functional requirements. Based on that consultation, we create a proposal for the project, including an approximate budget for design services. If you would like to move forward, you will receive a client agreement with a comprehensive scope of work + retainer, to officially confirm your spot on our design calendar.

  • The fun begins! This is when CM Studio works closely with you to gather and organize inspiration, engage in schematic space planning, and refine the initial design concepts for each space. We will take the time to really understand your design style, lifestyle, and goals for your home.

  • This is when we turn our schematic ideas into functional design plans. We work on the design and selection of all relevant materials. For construction projects this includes elements such as flooring, wall coverings, counters, hardware, lighting, plumbing, and other finishes. For furnishing projects this includes upholstery, rugs, casegoods, window treatments, lighting, wallpaper, accessories, and art. This phase concludes with a comprehensive design presentation, which includes CAD drawings, material/textile samples and often times 3-D, photorealistic renderings.

  • Throughout construction, we attend job site meetings to review design decisions, placement, and material installations. We work as a team with the builder/contractors to resolve any issues that arise during construction and ensure the design is executed as planned.

  • Leave the logistics to us. Once the furnishing design is approved, CM Studio will handle all procurement-related work with our vendors and closely track delivery details. We inspect each product as it arrives to our Receiving Warehouse, and handle any claims necessary to fix damages. We keep you updated on any delays, completed shipments, and other issues. During this stage we also work directly with our vetted trade partners to set up necessary appointments like painting, wallpaper installation, window treatment installation, and lighting installation.

  • We coordinate the installation of all of your new furnishing items with our movers and delivery team and set up your new spaces! We place your furniture, rugs, install lighting, style shelving, hang your artwork and add the finishing touches to make your new space picture-perfect.

  • Our commitment doesn't end with installation. We offer post-installation support to address any queries or adjustments, ensuring your satisfaction with the final result. Your happiness is our priority, and we are dedicated to maintaining the longevity and functionality of your newly-designed space.
